LOCAL 630 PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING BENIFITS TO ITS MEMBERS:

  • We negotiate a Collective Bargaining Agreement with your employer that garentees your Wage and benifit package. It also provides a grievance process that allows the employee to contest any unjust disciplines or unfair treatment.
  • We represent our members during the grievance process.
  • The Executive Board may elect to take grievances to Arbitration.
  • The Executive Board may elect to pay for an attorney to represent members at the Civil Service Board.
  • We provide a FREE $4,000 Accidental
    Death and Dismemberment to ALL MEMBERS. (Through American Income Life)
  • Pre-paid Legal Plan for Jacksonville and JEA bargaining unit employees.
  • The “Union Plus” benefits.
